Elizabethtown Regional Airport
Louisville area aviation enthusiasts have a reason to celebrate. The Elizabethtown Regional Airport, located in Elizabethtown, south of Louisville, provides general aviation services for those with a passion for being in the air. This 210-acre airport, originally known as Addington Field, was established in 1982. The airport features a single asphalt runway used by the airport's fixed base operator, Elizabethtown Flying Service.
For those looking for an adrenaline rush and an incredible good time, try skydiving. If you're not ready to try the exciting sport, at least visit the airport to see the skydivers practice their skills, in the air above the airport. When you visit the Elizabethtown Regional Airport, you'll be a short drive from nearby Shepherdsville.
