University of the Cumberlands
Formerly known as Cumberland College, University of the Cumberlands is a private liberal arts college established in 1889 and affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention. Located in Williamsburg, the 3,200 students have a choice of 45 major programs of study and a variety of minor programs. Students studying for Graduate programs have a choice of degrees in Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Physician Assistant Studies and Christian Studies.
After strolling through the historical campus, drive 13 miles north to Corbin, the home of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Tour the Harland Sanders Cafe and Museum to learn of the history of the Colonel and the restaurant. Enjoy spending time in eastern Kentucky, and just one of the many exceptional KY universities.
